Welcome to the Veteran Unix Admins international club
Join our cause to support the development of a systemd-free fork of Debian GNU/Linux.
We intend to maintain apt repositories with reviewed packages, and if necessary modified for minimalism and reliability.
Our mission is to keep Debian manageable for all those among use who use GNU/Linux by the UNIX tradition.
Veteran Unix Admins aim at maintaining this new Debian offspring as much compatible as possible with all kinds of ad-hoc init scripts used by the user community.
Individual members, commercial and non-profit sponsors are welcome.
We will then proceed involving all members in sketching the needs and characteristics of our new distribution.
